CBC’s youth group is open to middle and high school students. At CBC we know it is important  for youth to have an accessible place to meet and socialize in an informal setting where they can develop skills, confidence and a sense of community and participation.  For more information about youth activities – contact Dan (dcarlton@culpeperbaptist.org)

Summer Trip: Passport Mission Camp

We do a summer trip each year (this year is June 9-14 to Passport Mission Camp in Danville, VA).

Summer of 2018 We had a great time at Passport Mission Camp, June 17-22!  Check out Claire's and Alex's testimony:

Claire—”My passport experience was amazing.  Our theme was “Enough,” and during worship  we focused on “God is Enough,”  “You are Enough,” and “There is Enough.”  The theme verse really stuck to me as well, “Jesus said to me:  My grace is enough for you because power is made perfect in weakness.”  2 Corinthians 12:9.  All of this has made me think about being in the ministry and trying to help the homeless, world hunger, etc.  I want to thank all the people that donated for the trip. It meant a lot to us.  Also, thank you Pastor Dan and Mrs. Romero for taking us and everything you have done for us.”

Alex—“My experience at Passport is one that I will never forget. I made new friends, helped others in a struggling community through mission work, and definitely strengthened my relationship with God. It was nice getting to know and work with the youth from other churches, because it taught me more about myself and how  our church community is special. Secondly, while working at a food bank, I learned so much about a true community and how to strengthen ours’. Everyone there was so grateful and pleasant to work with because they know what it is like to truly have hard times and realize that the important things in life are being nice and caring for others, not just themselves. Lastly and most importantly, this mission trip helped me grow in my relationship with God. The bible study and daily worship allowed me to learn more about Him and connect to Jesus’ life. Passport is the best mission trip I have ever been on. Thank you for supporting us in going on this trip and Pastor Dan for planning all of it. Your effort and time is very much appreciated.”
