2020 was a unusual year and yet the generosity of our church continues to shine! Please take the time to read the “recap” of our year by clicking here. Thank you for your faithful stewardship this past year. We were able to make 2 additional payments in the last year ($50,000 in September and $68,768 January 12). Our monthly mortgage payment is $8,736 – $6058 goes to pay off principal each payment (and that increases every month!)
We will continue to make additional principal payments when we can. Checks or cash can be placed in our Sunday offering or mailed. Online donations can be made here. Donations/transfers of appreciated assets, such as: stock, cars, property, or other assets can be completed by contacting Lee Ann Warstler (firstname.lastname@example.org) Church Administrator.
We look forward to sharing more updates during 2021!
2019 has been a p o w e r f u l year! The ministry of CBC has impacted all ages–from tiny newborns to youth and on through our senior adults. Our building is alive! Wherever there is a need, you will see our church family: on Sunday mornings, on PACT night, delivering homebound food boxes, tutoring, teaching Spanish/English…joining God where he is at work.
We are grateful for generous end-of-year giving and a wonderful estate gift that allowed us to make an
additional principal payment of $112,664 in December.
Here are a few numbers for you to digest:
We are so excited to celebrate these accomplishments together. Culpeper Baptist has become well known both locally and statewide for its support and focus on the community. This building has become a place with which most people in Culpeper have interacted—all to God’s glory, and we continue to work toward being debt free, enabling us to do even more for our community.
Thank you for being a part of the Culpeper Baptist family and helping us accomplish the vision God has given us.
