Smiling Door Holders Did you know over 200 children enter our building each day? We would like to regularly hold the door for them and smile. The new school year starts August 23 so if you would be willing to occasionally open a door and smile – let us know. The best times to do this are 7:00-8:30 a.m. or 4:00-6:00 p.m. – you can do it for 30 minutes or longer. Practice your smiling and reach out to Jeanine (firstname.lastname@example.org) to sign up.
CDC Preschool Chapel Helpers We are actively seeking 1-2 folks per class to ‘adopt’ each of our preschool classes for the upcoming school year and assist Jeanine with preschool chapel. These folks will come alongside Jeanine each week to get to know a wonderful bunch of preschoolers and their teachers. We’re asking interested people to contact Jeanine (email@example.com) to hear more of how this works and your suitability for this unique opportunity to be a missionary to the CDC.

Sanctuary Service (10:30) Do you enjoy playing an instrument and singing with others as we worship? Randy is always excited about working with anyone who likes to sing or play an instrument to join him for the 10:30 service. Culpeper Baptist will be hosting an Adult Day Center starting in the first quarter of 2022!! This is a collaborative effort with several community partners. Sara Amos is the Director of the Adult Day Center and you can reach her at email@example.com.
Senior Engagement Groups: Calling enthusiastic individuals who enjoy engaging with senior adults. This Fall we will be hosting the senior adults in our community for music, reminiscing, art, craft, and game groups. We need volunteers to support these activities by building relationships with the participants and offering an extra set of hands.
Caregiver Events: We will have several opportunities to serve lunch, connect with caregivers, and provide various support during our caregiver events this Fall. Please let Sara Amos know if you are willing to help in any way.
Center Support: Once our adult day center is open we will need volunteers with all abilities and talents. Would you like to lead a group for music, exercise, or on a special topic? Would you like to support the program by collecting activity supplies, connecting with seniors, or offering a special skill? We have a place for you to serve!
