January 26 – March 2, 2023  “Genesis to Revelation in 70 Minutes” DVD 

Do you know many stories, parables and such from the Bible, but you’re not sure where they all fit into the context of the whole of scripture?  This course will be based upon the DVD lecture about each book of the Bible.  This is an overview of the entire Bible — the big picture.  Learn how the Bible is one story from start to finish of redemption and the Redeemer, and learn the key themes. Some helpful materials will be provided.  There is neither a workbook nor other materials available to purchase that go along with this DVD.  The only homework will be scripture reading; and, if you wish, some charts you can complete.

Separate class.  You may choose to do either one or both.

March 9 – April 27, 2023   Precept Upon Precept “Spare Your People, O Lord: A Study of Obadiah and Joel” Both of these Old Testament prophets told of the judgment of all nations in the coming day of the Lord.  Obadiah singled out the nation of Edom for their treatment of Israel.  What would happen to Edom?  Who would be spared?  Joel prophesied of salvation amid judgment and speaks much about the day of the Lord.

In these last days as we wait for the day of the Lord, we must remember a gracious God who calls His people to return to Him with their whole hearts.  Spare Your people, O Lord.  There is a workbook with homework assignments for this study.
