The 2025 Culpeper Concert Series proudly welcomes a six-piece ensemble from the acclaimed Washington Symphonic Brass for a special performance on Friday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
Since its founding in 1993 by conductor Milt Stevens and trumpeter/arranger Phil Snedecor, the Washington Symphonic Brass has become a celebrated fixture in the musical life of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Born out of a shared passion for performing great music with world-class musicians, the ensemble brings together some of the nation’s most accomplished brass players—artists in demand with top U.S. orchestras, premiere military bands, and with impressive solo recording careers.
Known for their artistry and versatility, the Washington Symphonic Brass performs an extraordinary repertoire spanning five centuries of music, appealing to audiences of all ages and tastes.
