Personnel Committee Announces
Youth Director Candidates
We are excited to share that the Personnel Committee has identified three candidates to serve as part-time Youth Directors.
After more than two years of searching, we are grateful to see this process coming together in a way that we believe will have a meaningful impact on teenagers in Culpeper.

Mark Dennis
Mark Dennis is a Culpeper native who has served as the track and field coach at Culpeper County High School since 2008 and currently works as a security officer at the Phoenix School. Mark has a deep passion for investing in young people and believes that making a difference early in life can shape a more meaningful future. He and his wife, Julie, have two children and have been part of a home church for the past six years.

Megan Gray
Megan Gray is a Culpeper native who has been actively involved at Antioch Baptist Church for most of her life. She teaches Principles of Business and Marketing and Economics and Personal Finance at Culpeper County High School, as well as coaches field hockey and supports the track program. Megan is passionate about building relationships with students and bringing energy, care, and experience into youth ministry. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from James Madison University and is currently pursuing a post master’s certificate in Educational Leadership.

Lindsey Aylor Carroll
Lindsey Aylor Carroll is a third-generation member of Culpeper Baptist Church. She teaches at Binns Middle School and serves as the varsity girls’ softball coach at Culpeper County High School. Lindsey played a key role in launching Converge, our weekly youth ministry, seven years ago, and continues to be deeply involved in the lives of students in our community. She is married to Garrett, and together they are active in the life of the church. Lindsey holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mary Washington University.
Join Us on Sunday, April 26!
All three candidates will speak during our service on Sunday, April 26 and will be available to talk with during the lunch/ministry fair.
Please make plans to be here and share your excitement about reaching teenagers in our community.
We are thankful for the way God has brought these individuals forward and ask you to be in prayer as we continue this process.

Meet our Leadership Team at Converge
We understand the importance of knowing who is leading your students on Wednesday Nights, for both safety & spiritual reasons. Here is a glimpse into our Wednesday Night leadership team! We are a team who is dedicated to and passionate about serving & leading the next generation in the most crucial years of their lives.

Danny Emery - Youth & Worship Intern
Danny Emery started interning with CBC for youth & worship ministry in September 2023. She grew up and lived in Stafford for most of her life alongside her ten siblings. When she’s not at the church building you can find her out at Jersey Mike’s making subs, spending time with the BCM at UMW, jamming out to some instruments & songwriting, or playing pickleball and soccer with her friends. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University and is passionate about pouring into the next generation. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the community of Culpeper!
Caleb Bish - Converge Co-Leader
Originally hailing from the okay state of PA, I grew up in a tiny town called Meadville, participating in many clubs and sports such as German club, National Honor Society, and football. I got my 4 year degree from the illustrious Grove City College, majoring in Exercise Science with a Health Occupation concentration. I started my teaching career at a private school teaching third graders, and eventually moved on to my current position, teaching 8th grade science at Floyd T. Binns Middle School. I am passionate about teens, school, sports, and faith, and very much appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the lives of youth through Culpeper Baptist Church.
