Holy Spirit

The Chosen Discussion Group

Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. || Courtyard commons

Come study the Scripture together and watch as it is played out in Season 4 of The Chosen.  We will discuss the Scripture and the show as we look at how life might have been for some of those following Jesus as He walked and taught during the days of His ministry.  Let’s be challenged together as we consider the cost to follow Jesus. Lamentations

mondays or wednesdays 2:00 P.m. || The Culpeper

Jeremiah, known as the ‘weeping prophet,’ wrote his lament of the destruction of God’s city and the exile of God’s covenant people. In doing so, he affirmed the tears produced in our own journeys of loss and suffering by pointing our gaze to God, who providentially rules the world. In this study, we’ll discover how to find supernatural hope and direction as we trace the laments of a prophet whom God raised up during one of Israel’s darkest times in their history. Learn More...

Jonah

1st & 3rd wednesdays 5:30 P.m. || Fellowship Hall

Dinner in the fellowship hall at 5:30 pm and then we break out across the building with groups and ministries for all ages. 6:30 pm: The story of Jonah is one of the most well-known stories in the Bible.  Many people, even those who are nonreligious, are familiar with Jonah: A rebellious prophet who defies God and is swallowed by a whale during a devastating storm. But there's much more to Jonah's story than most of us realize.  Join us as we take the journey with this angry, prodigal prophet who is called to speak God’s surprising message of mercy to a feared and loathsome enemy! Youth Ministry

wednesdays 6:00 P.m. || Courtyard commons

Converge is Culpeper's community Youth group that meets weekly at Culpeper Baptist Church. The night is started with social time with yard games such as Gaga Ball, Nine Square, Spikeball, Ping-Pong, and Board Games.
