Expired: Personnel Announcement

Welcome Eva Parker!

Eva is our new Worship & A/V Intern this summer! She'll be working closely with Christina, Lindsay & Winston to grow in the areas of worship leading, A/V & production, and musicianship. All of this will equip her to be a strong leader in her own college ministry, CRU, at Baylor University when she returns in the Fall. You'll see her around the church at both the 9am and 10:30 services, as well as helping with special events, such as our summer concert series! Say hi and get to know her!

In addition, the Personnel Committee is excited to announce the following additions to our church staff:

Chris Rogers has been hired as our assistant young adult director – he will work with Dan in directing this ministry.  This is a part time (10 hours a week) position.  Chris has been an active part of our young adult group and is married to Anna.  We are grateful for Chris’ leadership in the group over the last year and look forward to his work to expand our outreach to young adults in our community.

Rebecca Schwier has been hired as a choir director -part time position.  Rebecca has served as a pianist and children’s choir director at multiple churches.  She teaches 6th grade English at Culpeper Middle School.  She will be working with Lindsay and Christina to build our choir and to schedule musicians for the 10:30 a.m. service.

Valerie Hunt has been hired as a pianist for the 10:30 a.m. service.  Valerie has extensive experience with the piano and has served as a pianist for multiple churches.  She also worked for many years as an attorney with an emphasis on antitrust law.

Danny Emery will have an increased role with our youth ministry this summer.  Danny has been working with our youth and worship ministry this past year.  During the summer she will take on additional work in both areas and work with Chris to reach young adults who have recently graduated high school.

We are excited about the possibilities our new staff bring to us! Be sure to introduce yourself to them and pray for them as they get started.
